Spring in Korea is hands down my favorite season! The weather is perfect—not too hot, not too cold—and everything just comes back to life after the harsh winter. Seriously, Korean winters are freezing, and summers are way too hot and humid, so spring (and autumn!) feel like the sweet spot. And what marks the official start of spring in Korea? Cherry blossoms, of course!
One of the best places to enjoy cherry blossoms in Busan is Namcheon Cherry Blossom Street, right next to the Samik Beach Apartments. And let me tell you, I’m obsessed with this spot! Not only did I used to live here, but it’s also super close to Gwangalli Beach—my absolute favorite place in all of Korea.
I love everything about Gwangalli—the peaceful ocean views, the lively cafes, the way you can just relax with friends and enjoy the vibe. It’s the perfect mix of calm and energy. And during cherry blossom season, the whole area becomes even more magical!
